Greg Wyman has been in public education in Arizona for three-three years. During his career he has held a variety of positions including, teacher, principal, associate superintendent and superintendent. Greg’s career included teaching at Canyon del Oro High school in Tucson and administrative positions for Patagonia Union High School District, Patagonia Elementary School District, Snowflake Unified School District, Apache Junction Unified School District, Tempe Union High School District and Payson Unified School District.
Greg has been superintendent for fifteen years, serving three school district, Payson, Apache Junction and Snowflake. During his tenure as superintendent Greg has been a leader in the implementation of innovative technology in the classroom. He is active in the politics of Arizona working to support public education. He also serves on numerous boards. He is the Past President of the Arizona School Administrators Association (ASA), Past Vice President – Education for the Arizona Business Education Coalition (ABEC). In addition, Greg has served on community boards including the Prostate Onsite Project, Joe Foss Institute, Chamber of Commerce for Apache Junction and Snowflake-Taylor and the Superstition Mountain Rotary Club.
Greg received a B.A. in Biology and History from Lewis & Clark College in 1983, his masters in Secondary Education from the University of Arizona in 1991 and his doctorate in Education from the University of Arizona in 1999. Greg and his wife, Mary, have three children.
